Terms and Conditions for Aplanty Presents: The Rare Plant Market

These terms and conditions ("Agreement") apply to the pre-ordering and collection of plants for Aplanty Presents: The Rare Plant Market ("Event"). By placing a pre-order and participating in the Event, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Pre-Ordering and Payment:

a. Customers may pre-order plants they wish to secure for the Event through the official website.

b. Payment in full must be made at the time of ordering to secure the desired plants.

c. Pre-orders can be made until 21st July 2023, midday (BST).

d. Pre-orders cannot be cancelled after 21st July 2023, midday (BST).

2. Plant Collection:

a. Plants can be collected from the Event between 10am and 5pm on 12th August 2023.

b. Customers must present a valid order confirmation and identification to collect their pre-ordered plants.

c. Failure to collect plants during the Event hours will result in plants needing to be posted by the Aplanty team from 14th August 2023, please see section 3. b. for costs incurred.

3. Postage and Packaging:

a. In the event that a customer cannot collect their pre-ordered plants from the Event, communication will be sent from Monday 14th August onwards.

b. Additional payment of £10 per order will be required to cover postage and packaging costs for forwarding the plants to the customer.

c. Postage and packaging charges are non-refundable once paid.

4. Tickets:

a. Admission to the Event is free of charge. No tickets are required to attend the Event.

5. Liability:

a. Aplanty does not hold responsibility for the care of the plants once the customer leaves the Event. The plants are sourced from a specialist nursery in South America.

b. Aplanty can offer advice on the day regarding the care of your new plants in their new home.

c. Aplanty and its organisers shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage, or injury that may occur during the Event. Customers are responsible for inspecting their plants at the time of collection and reporting any issues immediately.

6. Changes to the Event:

a. Aplanty reserves the right to make changes to the Event, including but not limited to the schedule, location, or availability of plants.

b. Any changes or cancellations will be communicated to the customers via the provided contact information.

7. Privacy:

a. Aplanty will collect and process personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws and its privacy policy.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:

a. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.

b. Any disputes arising from or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.

By placing a pre-order and participating in the Event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. Aplanty reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review this Agreement periodically for any changes.
